Hydraulic bolt tensioning provides a quick and easy method for tightening large diameter bolts.

Tensioners are known for being extremely accurate. Completely covering the nut and the bolt, the tensioner is pressurized, the bolt is stretched, and then the nut is turned to retain the tension on the bolt. They can also be hydraulically linked together across multiple bolts, giving you an even faster, more accurate preload. 

They also eliminate the need to replace nuts and washers due to wear and tear.

M42 x 4.5 Mainshaft Tensioner

65mm hex nut rotator, pressure advance, spring return, single port, 19,580 psi (1350 bar) maximum operating pressure, single-stage design, ratchet-style tensioner engagement, ratchet-style nut rotator, positive stop to prevent over-stroking, steel construction, minimal outside diameter to fit into close-clearance applications when blade is installed on the rotor. 

Economy Foundation Tensioner

Interchangeable Foundation Stud Tensioner designed for Williams or Dyson wind tower foundation studs. Economy design offers easy use by utilizing an existing foundation stud hex nut. Includes a common load cell and interchangeable tensioner base. Pressure advance, spring return, single port, 21,750 psi (1500 bar) max. operating pressure, single-stage design, and ratchet-style nut rotator. Positive stop prevents over-stroking.

M36 x 4.0 Bolt Installation Tensioner
