Torq/Lite® has been manufacturing and designing hydraulic torque tools for Francis Torque Service (first ISO 9002 registered bolting service nationwide), in addition to other companies domestically and internationally since 1981. These tools are depended on in your business as well as ours every day. Our standards demand they be accurate and durable. Every tool is function tested and calibrated before shipment to you, our customer. It is Torq/Lite®'s standard to have all tool designs and modifications field-tested before offering them to you, the customer. Above all, they must work, "in the field". And they do!
The President, Dale Francis, has been associated with the offshore and bolting industry; from the drilling and production industry to plants, refineries, and construction sites; for over 30 years. His hands on experience, bolting application knowledge, and spirit to problem to solve has initiated the development of the RT-Series riser tool and accessories for the flange bolted marine sub-sea riser, JN-Series hydraulic torque wrench for crosshead jam nut and top drive packing nut applications, and many modified SU & IU-Series hydraulic torque tools for those problem bolting applications. One of his most recent accomplishments has been to improve our line of IU and SU-Series tools to make what we now call our IU-XL and SU-XL Series, which were introduced at OTC 2003. These tools replace the unsafe, inaccurate sledgehammers, hammer wrenches, and other hand tools previously used while providing a Fast, Safe, Accurate, Cost- Effective method to tighten and loosen nuts & bolts.
As an ISO 9001-2008 registered and certified company, our commitment to product quality and customer service is second to none. All of our products are manufactured in house. We do not subcontract machine work, which allows us to control the quality of all our machined parts as well as be cost effective. This allows us to pass our savings on to you the customer.
